SMTCL HTC40Q is a heavy-duty horizontal CNC lathe engineered for high-volume automotive parts production. With an A2-8 spindle nose, 8-inch hydraulic chuck, and 50 mm bar capacity, it confidently handles heavy cutting on alloy steel shafts, gear blanks, and large-diameter disc components that exceed the capacity of standard CNC lathes.
Driven by a 11 kW main motor delivering 245 N.m peak torque through large 136mm front bearings, the HTC40Q achieves aggressive material removal rates on tough materials. The 8-station servo turret with 30m/min rapid traverse on both axes minimizes non-cutting time, while the optional bar feeder enables lights-out batch production of shafts up to 65mm diameter.
11 kW spindle motor with 245 N.m max torque. A2-8 nose with 136mm front bearings provides the rigidity needed for heavy roughing on alloy steel, carbon steel, and hardened materials.
380mm max cutting diameter, 500mm cutting length, and 50mm bar capacity. Accommodates automotive half shafts, gear blanks, and large disc components in a single setup.
Optional bar feeder supports 50mm bar stock for unattended mass production. Hydraulic tailstock with MT-5 taper center enables stable support for long shaft turning.
